With a solid background in healthcare marketing, communications and technology and more than 20 years of experience working with pharmaceutical companies, research organizations and patient groups, David brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to MedTera. During his career, David has developed and executed innovative marketing and communication projects across the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Healthcare Industries.

Jun has spent his career providing clinical and marketing strategies and solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotech & medical device industry. Jun’s work centers on his ability to assist clients in mapping the new market landscape shaped by policy, science and technology. Jun received his BS in Biology from Zhongshang University, his Masters in Biology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, his Ph.D. in Biology from Bowling Green State University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.


Mark S. Freed, MD, FACC 

MedTera Senior Medical Advisor

Dr. Freed is a cardiologist in Chicago, Illinois; founder and current President and Editor-in-Chief of Freed Medical Communications and the Physician-Patient Partnership Program; founder and former President and Editor-in-Chief of Physicians’ Press; and a thought leader on physician-patient collaboration and engagement. Dr. Freed has co-authored or edited more than 25 books on clinical medicine and has been an invited speaker and abstract grader for the American College of Cardiology. He’s co-founder and former co-director of the Interventional Cardiology Self-Assessment and Review Program at the renowned Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) Conference. Dr. Freed’s professional focus is to improve healthcare by creating programs and resources that strengthen the physician-patient partnership and improve patient adherence, satisfaction, quality of care and clinical outcomes.


Mark R. Vanelli, MD

MedTera Senior Medical Advisor

Dr. Vanelli is a Psychiatrist in Westborough, Massachusetts and facility member at Harvard University College of Medicine. Dr. Vanelli is a consultant to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, recognized author, speaker and researcher on the impact non-adherence has on the overall global healthcare system and the importance of patient education on promoting health and wellness. Dr. Vanelli is a graduate of Harvard University.


George T. Zahorian III, DO, FACOS

MedTera Senior Medical Advisor

Dr. Zahorian is a board certified Urologic Surgeon practicing in Pennsylvania. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Zahorian is an advisor to the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of patient education, medication compliance / adherence and assists in commercialization process of new and innovative therapy’s. Dr. Zahorian is a recognized author and speaker on a range of healthcare topics and healthcare policy. Dr. Zahorian studied Endocrinology at Seton Hall University and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
